WORTH A MENTION: The American Man$ion's Top-10 Mansions In 2021

Whew Lord!!! Compiling this Top-10 list for 2021 was not an easy task! I published about 350 posts this year showcasing some of the nation's most luxurious listings. And unlike last spring's Top-10 list, I opted not to randomize the order of this year's list; they are sorted from favorite (#10) to absolute favorite (#1).

10 : 9030 Sandringham Drive, Houston, TX 77024 has approximately 21,738 square feet of living space with 8 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Designed by Sullivan, Henry, Oggero, & Associates, the spectacular contemporary mega mansion was built in 2008 and is situated on just over 2 acres of park-like land. It is currently not for sale but has been listed for as much as $24,500,000.

09 : 55 E Onwentsia Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 is a 10,687 square foot French-inspired brick mansion with stone accents that has 8 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It was designed by Liederbach & Graham Architects, built in 2009, and situated on three acres of manicured land. The stately home was sold in June 2021 for $5,350,000.

08 : 3685 Paces Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30327 is a European-inspired brick and stone mansion that was designed by William T. Baker. The stately residence was built in 2002 and is situated on 3 acres of land. It features 15,846 square feet of living space with 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. Suited for grand-scale entertaining and living, it was sold in November 2021 for $6,375,000.

07 : 271 S Mapleton Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90024 is located on Billionaire's Row, this Mediterranean-inspired mega mansion was built in 2013 and is situated on just over an acre of flat land. It features 8,400 square feet of living space with 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. It is currently not for sale but has been listed for as much as $3,575,000.

05 : 3120 Woodland Drive NW, Washington, DC 20008 is affectionately dubbed "The Piano Estate" as it was originally built in 1928 for the founders of present-day Jordan Kitt's Music Company.
